INGREDIENTS
10 medium sized potatoes
2 teaspoons finely shredded garlic
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup of water
small bunch of dhania (Coriander)
salt and pepper to taste
Pinch of food colour
oil for frying.
INSTRUCTIONS - Wash the potatoes until the water runs clean then peel them. In a cooking pot put the water and potatoes then bring them to a boil. Be careful not to overcook. Once cooked let them cool before cutting into cubes.
- In a bowl mix the flour, garlic, food colour, salt, pepper and dhania then add the water a little at a time until you have a thick paste.
- In a frying pan pre-heat the cooking oil. Dip the potatoes in hot oil and fry till golden brown.
Serve with Kachumbari or nyama choma.
